Treble celebrate World Cup arrival
With little more than a month left until the beginning of the FIFA World Cup in South Africa, the feeling of excitement is reaching new levels throughout the country. Preparations are nearing their conclusion as the people of South Africa look forward to welcoming the world to its shores.
Coca-Cola, one of the global partners of FIFA, began the final countdown to the event by bringing the World Cup trophy to the people of South Africa. From 7 May to 6 June the famous trophy will make appearances at 33 events giving all fans the chances to have a “Pashasha” moment when they have a photo taken with the solid gold trophy.

To kickoff the month long tour, Coca-Cola invited dignitaries and well-known personalities to the V&A Waterfront for a launch event. In attendance was Treble Group’s Head of Marketing and Sales Brad Habana. Penninsula Beverages, the South African distributor of Coca-Cola, and the Coke brand have formed a mutually beneficial relationship with Treble Group over several years and through events such as this, the relationship will continue to grow into the future.
Brad was given the opportunity to interact and network with some of the most influential individuals in the sporting industry as well as well known politicians such as the Western Cape Premier Helen Zille.
Treble Group has once again proven that it is at the forefront of the sports marketing industry as it continues to show its support for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, which officially opens on June 11.
