Selwyn Lewis, Chairman
After 25 years experience in the world of banking and financial services in London, Selwyn returned to South Africa and founded the Treble Group in 1999. His leadership and financial expertise saw him establish key partnerships with two world class teams, Manchester United and Springbok Rugby. This continued vision has seen the business grow across a number of passion brands on a global scale.
Kyle Nel, Managing Director
Kyle spent six years as SA Rugby’s commercial manager, and was responsible for developing and maximising the commercial model for the most successful sporting brand in South Africa. Career highlights include negotiations for the 2009 British and Irish Lions Tour to SA, South Africa’s 2005 and 2008 broadcasting rights renewals, the Springbok Team’s commercial programmes for the 2003 and 2007 Rugby World Cup events and structuring and selling SA Rugby’s revised sponsorship strategy in 2003/2004.
In his role as MD of Treble, Kyle intends to use his foremost knowledge on the global value, rights and trends in sports media and marketing to strategise and structure highly successful commercial ventures for corporates and rights holders domestically and internationally.
Keith Harris, Non-Executive Director
Keith is one of the most renowned and influential men in the world of football, and is considered an expert in football club investment and purchasing. He has brokered deals on behalf of many of the leading Premiership Clubs over the past 2 decades, including Chelsea, Manchester City, West Ham and Aston Villa to name a few. He was Chairman of the English Football League and director of Wembley Stadium and is now Chairman of Seymour Pierce, and non-executive director of a number of private and public companies in the sports and media sectors.
Brad Habana, Head of Marketing
Brad launched his career at MTN, creating and implementing major event programs. He then became Sponsorship Manager at ABSA, where he was custodian of a number of major accounts including SA Rugby and the Springbok Team. In 2007 he helped to take the ABSA Boktown concept into a globally recognized fan park. For the last 18 months Brad has been with Supersport/Oracle, creating a number of successful campaigns for corporates by helping with their strategic planning in the use of media within a Sports Marketing initiative.
