Treble Group was founded in 1999 when Manchester United achieved what had been called “the impossible dream”, winning the English Premier League, FA Cup and European Cup in the same season. Like that great team, we believe in capturing the hearts and minds of sports fans through their passion for live sporting events and in turn, translating this experience into real business results.
Having started on this journey as Manchester United’s partner in South Africa in 1999, Treble is now involved with some of the biggest brands in South Africa, Abu Dhabi and the UK.
Treble in South Africa is a leading player in rugby, football, mass participation and cycling events. We have created joint venture partnerships with SA Rugby, Western Province Rugby, and the UCI (International Cycling Union) and work with key sponsors to achieve maximum awareness and business results through sport and entertainment.
In Abu Dhabi,
Treble Sports operates as a joint venture between Treble and Bloom Sports, a subsidiary of National Holding (NH), a privately owned, Abu-Dhabi based conglomerate with business interests in five major sectors: investments, industry, property, general trading and oil & gas. The group originated in 1999 and has been investing in various growth sectors in the MENA region and other emerging markets. Treble Sports is focused on the growth markets of sport and entertainment in the Middle East region.
In the UK, Treble combines our vast experience with that of our partner companies Brand Rapport Arena and Icon Display. This collective expertise has been used to develop sports marketing programmes for brands like Vodafone, E.ON, Hugo Boss, Red Bull, British Airways and Barclays. In addition to working with some of the biggest rights holders in world sport: FIFA World Cup, UEFA Champions League, Olympic Games, Manchester United FC, Chelsea FC, the FA Cup and the England Football Team.
